People
Dr. Jennifer McGee is the principal researcher and owner of McGee3 Education Consulting LLC. She has 15 years of experience conducting program evaluations and teaching applied research courses. Her areas of specialty are STEM Education; Career and Technical Education; and rural education. Dr. McGee holds an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership, Research, and Evaluation from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, an M.S. in Agriculture Education from the University of Florida, and a B.S. in Agriculture Education from North Carolina State University.
Dr. McGee is currently an Associate Professor of Educational Research and Evaluation at Appalachian State University where she teaches undergraduate classroom assessment and graduate level applied and quantitative research. Prior to her career in higher education, Dr. McGee was a high school agriculture/horticulture teacher in the Charlotte, North Carolina area.
During her graduate studies, both in Florida and North Carolina, she engaged with program evaluation as a scholar and a project manager, leading data collection and analysis efforts. Her passion for integrity, clarity, and data-driven educational program evaluation led her to found McGee3 Education Consulting LLC.
Dr. McGee lives with her son, Carter, husband, Jimmy, and dog, Macy, in Cornelius, North Carolina. She is a devoted soccer mom and music lover with a passion for travel and meeting new people.
